For the whole day I have had to listen to bad jokes from teachers about Halloween...

And I have so much stuff to do! Busy busy busy...

I've been really busy... And probably nobody reads this anyway... So I am pretty lazy with making entries.

I watched Spiderman 3 yesterday night on DVD... Somehow, Spiderman reminds me strongly of Little Kuriboh. Of course, I can't say I know LK very well, I don't even know him personally-- but I've stalked around on his LJ and I'm an avid fan of YGO TAS. I guess the reason Peter Parker reminds me of him is that they  both started off as shy people, but then they both made some great achievement and became extremely popular. And when I saw Peter Parker and Mary Jane, I think of LK and Safty...

Sooo glad it's Friday! Finally!

Now I shall do the comments for the next TAS episode.

Episode 25:

- The little scene before the credits isn't the most laugh-able one, but it's pretty fun, because... Because it's Joey and Tristian, of course.

- Poor Yugi... I really like the development between Yugi, Yami no Yugi and Tea. It makes the Abriged Series feels more like a series instead of just separated comedy one-shots. I'm not saying it ever feels like separated comedy one-shots, because there are many continual character traits and sometimes they think back to earlier episodes. But it's good to have something like plot development anyway.

- I love the way he said "the rain is really loud!".

- The bleeps are soo funny!! Seems like Yami really lost control...

- I love the theme of friendship speeches. Since they are very Tea. You can never think of one without thinking of the other. The timing of her blurting out about friendship is just perfect.

- I LOVE THE SONG! LK is soo talented, being able to sing while assuming the character's voice... It was so great. 

- Haha, Yami looks so genuinely confused when he complains that there are no cards or life points in DDR.

- I'm pouting. LOL.

- I didn't think the part where Yami says it was part of the game works that well, but the line following it saved it. I know, it looked like fun. XD

- Johnny Steps's talking in third person isn't that funny... Perhaps because we already have Kemo's hair and Mai's breats and Tristan's voice... So it wasn't that new.

- Ha, the Bamboozled Celtic Guardian...

- The editing of the scene where Tea gives her friendship speech is so nicely done! It really does look like Tea ranted on about friendship for a few hours. LOL

- This ending is much better than the previous episode's.

- For some reasons, a lot of people like the line "Die, milkshake, die", but I don't think it's that good...

Wednesdays are my super-long days. I have to stay after school for two hours until six for orchestra and about half an hour after I got home I have to do again to my one-hour music theory lesson, and I don't get to sit down properly in my room until 10pm.

But enough of complains. What should I rant about? Oh yeah...

Yesterday LK released episodes 24 and 25 of TAS and a bonus video! Super awesomeness! (I try to refrain myself from actually quoting TAS catchphrases, like Super Special Awesome, even though I love TAS... It gets annoying when you start to see TAS quote every other post on the TAS forum.)

Episode 24:

-I was a little surprised by Ishizu's voice. It was a little... creepy? I just cannot get used to it in a short while, since my impression of the original was kind of respectable and elegant, so it's a big change and it's different from seeing, say, Mai or Tea getting made fun of. But I like the focus on her very accurate insight of the future...

-The news guy was funny. Very typical TAS speech there.

-There is a slight problem with the scene where Seto Kaiba picks up the phone. I might be a little fastidious here, but I think Seto reached for the phone before it began to ring...

-Why didn't you just invite me over the phone? Very good point!

-I love the scene between Yami no Yugi and Yugi.

- OMG a giant rock! That was the funniest moment in this episode!! It works so well with that shocked expression on Seto Kaiba's face! Wait, that wasn't the funniest... OMG another giant rock! <-- That was. XD

- Best. Destiny. Ever. I wasn't expecting that, and it was very funny too! In a different way than the "rock" one. It's funny because Seto is so obsessed with the card game, and because his original self actually detested the destiny thing.

- ... that you wear a shirt that covers your manly chest. Wait a sec, Priest Seto, you yourself aren't wearing a shirt like that...

- ... and he's an asshole, just like me! Ha ha, that was funny. I thought he was going to say And he's painstakingly handsome, just like me! though. But then I don't think LK was ever that much of a Kaiba fan, eh?

- Ancient Egyptian spoil attacks. LOL.

- Yes, Pegasus is mentioned!!!

- ... kinda like what you did back in the first episode. Ha, good thinking. Never occured to me, that.

- ... can we stop talking like this? I'm getting very dizzy. LOL, very typical TAS too. 

- Another GX joke! I love that! I just love it when GX is made fun of!

- Another good scene between Yami no Yugi and Yugi! You'll always have card games. XD

- However, the last scene with Mokuba driving wasn't too funny... It's a little cliched, I guess... In general, I didn't quite like the Mokuba jokes in this episode. The sponge bob one was too random and not very funny, to be frank.

That's all for episode 24. Don't have time for 25 now. I'll write down my thoughts if I have time next time.

Really tired these two days...

Wasted tonight collecting YGO pics... I just love collecting pics... I have this whole collection of Duelist Kingdom pics, as I try to figure out what is where and how many rooms there are in the castle. Ha ha. That's how obsessed I am. Pegasus J. Crawford is one of the best anime characters ever!

I am paying Gaia gold to someone to get the Loveless raw scanlations of Ch.5, 6 and 7 translated...

And Ch.4 of the Loveless translated-scanlation was out on Yurusu a while ago, which is great.

That's about it... I don't even know why I am bothering to post. XD

 I spent all of yesterday's free time searching for Loveless manga scanlations... It seems like there are a lot of people out there asking for the same thing on different forums. If it's any help to a fellow Loveless fan, here are the best sources I know for scanlations.

http://www.ob-session.org/ -- a popular site, has a lot of yaoi mangas, but you have to register on the forum to download stuff. As of now their collection of Loveless is up to volume 7 chapter 3, which is not very updated, but all the scanlations are translated. EDIT: On 9th Sep, Obsession announced that from volume 7 chapter 4 onwards they will stop scanlating the series.

http://www.vnmanga.com/ -- another good site for downloading manga, but the Loveless scanlations are perhaps the same as Obsession's (I'm not sure though), as they only have up to volume 7 chapter 3 as well.

http://yurusu.net/ -- a popular Loveless fansite, has a lot of good Loveless-related downloads. Their scnalations are up to volume 8 chapter 3, which is more up-to-date. For some volumes, they have both the raw and translated versions. I am not sure whether there are volumes that are not translated because I downloaded the earlier volumes from Obsessions. The newer volumes, however (say, 7 and 8), are translated.

http://skoku-dan.plutosking.net/index.php -- another good Loveless fansite. Their Loveless scanlations are the same as the ones on Yurusu though, I think, as they are posted by the same person.

http://community.livejournal.com/lovelesszerosum/ -- a LiveJournal community dedicated to Loveless. Their scanlations are the most up-to-date as they scan the Zero Sum magazine as they come out each month (as of now they already have the Sep, 07 issue scanned-- that is, chapter 8 of volume 8!!). However, that means the scanlations are raw and not translated. Sometimes they would have a text format translation, but not for all issues.

That's about it. There are other sites for manga download, but only these have the most up-to-date translated Loveless scanlations. I ransacked the search engine for hours and tried all the distinctly relative words. But if you somehow managed to find another source for Loveless scanlations, please share it!!

I am waiting very impatiently for Yurusu's vol.8 ch.4 to come out. I couldn't find any text translation for the dialogues even though I have downloaded the raw scanlation from the last link I posted, and that's frustrating. Besides, it's different between reading a raw scanlation and the text translation and reading a translated scanlation.
